Background
Is a receptor for the SMIM20 derived peptides Phoenixin-14 and Phoenixin-20 (By similarity). It mediates the Phoenixin-14 and Phoenixin-20 augmentation of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GNRH) signaling in the hypothalamus and pituitary gland (By similarity). In the ovary, it mediates the effects of Phoenixin-14 and Phoenixin-20 induced granulosa cell proliferation during follicular growth.

  • Western blot analysis of SREB3/GPR173 expression in HEK293T (A), Hela (B), mouse brain (C), mouse kidney (D), rat kidney (E) whole cell lysates. (Predicted band size: 41 kD; Observed band size: 55 kD)

  • Immunohistochemical analysis of SREB3/GPR173 staining in human lung cancer formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.

Store at +4℃ after thawing. Aliquot store at -20℃. Avoid repeated freeze / thaw cycles.
