This chemokine is released from the alpha granules of activated platelets in the form of a homotetramer which has high affinity for heparin and is involved in platelet aggregation. This protein is chemotactic for numerous other cell type and also functions as an inhibitor of hematopoiesis, angiogenesis and T-cell function. Immunohistochemistry: Paraffin-embedded Mouse spleen tissue. Antigen Retrieval: Heat mediation was performed in Citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 20 min. The tissue section was blocked with 10% goat serum. The tissue section was then stained with ARG43362 anti-CXCL4 / PF4 antibody at 1 µg/ml dilution, overnight at 4°C.
