| 背景介绍 | The protein encoded by this gene is a subunit of the propionyl-CoA carboxylase (PCC) enzyme, which is involved in the catabolism of propionyl-CoA. PCC is a mitochondrial enzyme that probably acts as a dodecamer of six alpha subunits and six beta subunits. This gene encodes the beta subunit of PCC. Defects in this gene are a cause of propionic acidemia type II (PA-2). Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.[provided by RefSeq, May 2010] |

Immunofluorescence: Formalin-fixed U2OS cells were permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in TBS for 5-10 minutes and blocked with 3% BSA-PBS for 30 minutes at room temperature. Cells were stained with ARG66582 anti-PCCB antibody (red) in 3% BSA-PBS and incubated overnight at 4°C.

Immunohistochemistry: Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded Human kidney tissue. Antigen Retrieval: Heat mediation was performed in Sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then stained with ARG66582 anti-PCCB antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
