BATF3, or Basic Leucine Zipper ATF-Like Transcription Factor 3, is a transcription factor crucial for the development of conventional type 1 dendritic cells (cDC1s), which are essential for cross-presentation of antigens and CD8 T cell mediated immunity against intracellular pathogens and tumors.

Immunohistochemical analysis of BATF3 staining in human breast cancer formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system.
