Background
The trichorhinophalangeal syndrome 1 (TRPS1) gene belongs to the GATA transcription factor family. No or little expression of TRPS1 is found in Lung, Pancreatic, Colon, Gastric Adenocarcinomas, Urothelial, Renal, or Ovarian Carcinomas, or Melanoma. TRPS1 is a sensitive and specific marker for Breast Cancer and particularly for Triple-Negative Breast Cancer.
